Volunteers are needed in 2-hour shifts to cover the weekends. February 23, 2012 - CPEWC Engineers Week Banquet

Description:   Advances in Prosthetics presented by Rory A. Cooper, Ph.D., University of Pittsburgh - An overview of advances in the development and implementation of prosthetic devices emphasizing technologies and techniques applied to military and veteran populations. Topics will include blast injuries, holistic approaches to rehabilitation, sports and recreation as performance goals, and advances through robotic applications.

Other Info:This year's menu will include an entree choice of Prime Rib au Jus, Parmesan Encrusted Chicken or Roasted Vegetable Ravioli (vegetarian) served with tossed salad, side dish, rolls, beverages and dessert. The event will begin with a Social at 5:30 p.m. with a cash bar. Dinner will be served at 6:00 p.m. and the program will begin at 7:00 p.m.

March 01, 2012 - CPEWC Capital Area Science and Engineering Fair (CASEF)

Description:   Students, grades seven through 12, exhibit projects in one of 15 categories. After a two day competition, two senior high students will be chosen as grand champions to compete at ISEF, compliments of CASEF.
